When should I join? You can join SAIL anytime during your collegiate career. If you are a new student to West Chester, we will begin documenting all of your leadership experiences once you start the SAIL program. If you have been attending WCU for sometime, we will immediately begin documenting your leadership activities since your freshman year. Remember, the SAIL program is retroactive meaning that many of your leadership experiences since your freshman year at WCU may count towards the program.

I am a senior at West Chester University. Is it too late for me to join? It is never too late to join SAIL! Whatever your academic standing, we will work with you to ensure you have every opportunity to complete SAIL before you graduate. As noted above, this program is RETROACTIVE so many of your leadership experiences since your freshman year may count towards the program.

How long do I have to complete the program? You have all four years at WCU to complete the program. SAIL is flexible in that you have the ability to complete the program at your own pace. You will have up until your last month as a senior to complete the program.

How do I know what events/programs on campus will count toward the program? We have made it very easy for you. By visiting the Calendar section of this website (www.sailwcu.weebly.com/calendar.html) you will find a listing of events that will count towards the SAIL program. There will never be a question as to what will count! Events are organized by the program categories. For example, workshops are listed under the heading "Workshops", conferences are listed under the heading "Conferences", and so forth.

I heard about a program on campus that is not listing on the Calendar section of the SAIL website. I want to attend but how can I find out if this program will count towards SAIL? Simply email us by clicking here. Provide the name and a brief description of the event and we will let you know as soon as possible.
